Trystero is a romantic mess of psych, pop and poetry produced for adventurous dancefloors by the trio of MR TC, Low Bat and Kelly Placard. Since their first album ‘Sfumare e Vedere’ landed on Knekelhuis in early 2024, their music has struck a chord with curious dancers, DJs and dreamers alike and has seen them touring extensively through Europe, Türkiye, Georgia and the UK.
Their second album ‘Humming Fuzz’ sees them moving into funkier and more playful territory on tracks like album opener ‘Rivière Oliviere’ and ‘Bondax Dancefloor’ where frontman Low Bat longingly reminisces about deviant experiences on a Neukölln afters dance floor. Meanwhile, tracks like ‘Green Flowers’ ‘The Lubber Fiend’ and ‘This Is The Future And That Is The Past’ see the return of the kind of acid-drenched, fuzzed out sound punctured with the breakbeats and throbbing kick drums that turned heads and moved bodies with their debut outing.
