Zofia Page in conversation with Michael Smith, author of Giro Playboy and his most recent novel, Strangers on the Shore. The salon will open with a rare a screening of the short film Michael made with Maxy Bianco, Magick Hastings, followed by a discussion about his books, and his shared interest with Zofia in Alesteir Crowley – and of course intimate insight into his working relationship with Andrew Weatherall on the collaborative novel, Unreal City, published a decade ago and now one of the rarest AW items in his catalogue...

Lee Brackstone will also be in conversation with cultural critic, style journalist and historian, Paul Gorman. Riffing on Paul’s most recent publication about the ultimate ‘60s boutique, Granny Takes a Trip (White Rabbit), Lee and Paul will discuss the golden ages of rock n roll fashion with assistance from and reference to images from both ‘Grannys’ and Paul’s celebrated book, The Look: Adventures in Rock and Pop Fashion. There are likely to be references to Mr Weatherall’s signature sartorial style from time to time…
